Hi, I’m Vicki.

So, you want to know more about me outside my love of being a wedding photographer?

I reside in a snug home just outside Edinburgh, Scotland, with my two beloved rescue cocker spaniels, Archie and Izzy. To say I am a dog person is an understatement—I’m the epitome of what you’d call ‘a dog person’. To me, dogs embody the purest spirits.

I cherish the tranquility that only nature can offer. Whether it’s meandering through lush forests or trekking across expansive hills with Archie and Izzy, I find solace and peace in these quiet moments away from the bustle.

Oh, and I can’t forget about Jordan, my boyfriend of seven years and undoubtedly one of my best friends. He’s a constant in my life, and although Archie might jokingly compete for the title of my soul mate, Jordan truly holds a special place in my heart. We find our greatest joy not in bustling social scenes but in the comfort of our home, affectionately dubbed “our little nest,” alongside our furry ‘babies’.

My passion for travel knows no bounds, especially when it comes to Canada, a country to which I feel a profound connection. Airports are my gateway to adventure, offering endless opportunities for people-watching and engaging in meaningful conversations with strangers, enriching my understanding of the world.

This love of connecting with people and their stories is precisely why I adore being a wedding photographer. It’s a privilege to meet diverse couples, share in their joyous moments, and capture the narrative of their special day. Being entrusted to tell these stories is not just a job; it’s one of the greatest honours I could ever imagine.

Vicki is one of my oldest friends and she played a massive part in my *updated* proposal, capturing everything through her camera in the beautiful way she does. Thankfully, she was available to photograph my wedding and I am so happy she was. She travelled to Gretna Green and made me feel unbelievably wonderful all day, as both my friend and photographer. The photos she captured of the day are gorgeous. Vicki’s ability to capture the moments in between the “posed” photos without being noticed is truly a skill not many have! She is truthfully the ninja of the photography world. Receiving the finished photos of the day cemented how lucky I was to get Vicki for our wedding day. Every photo captured the love and happiness of the day. Each one was personalised and original to us. I only wish there were two of Vicki so she could have been in the photos with us and taking them. If anyone is looking for a photographer for their wedding I cannot recommend Vicki enough. She was astounding from start to finish and beyond and you will miss out if you don’t get her to capture your special day.

Not sure where to start with summarising our experience with Vicki and everything she did for us on our wedding day! From the moment she walked into the room, she was literally an extra bridesmaid - getting involved with the wedding morning prep. She had everyone laughing and relaxed from the start which has made for some really natural pictures. She got everyone organised and ready to go for the ceremony, even giving my dress a fluff at the end of aisle - a true bridesmaid! As for the pictures, we love them all. She captured our day perfectly! She managed to get some sneaky pictures that we had no idea she was taking. She was willing to try just about anything to get the best shot! We are so pleased with our pictures and have had so many compliments from our family and friends on them too. Our wedding day would not have been the same without Vicki - we cannot recommend her enough!
