10 frames from Louise and Stewart’s beautiful, colourful, fun and super chill vibe wedding day last weekend.

I loved this wedding. Louise and Stewart were SO laid back and fully present, soaking up every second of the beautiful day that they had planned.

The flowers were bloody gorgeous. I even got to take some home with me! (Thanks Louise 😘)

Alison worked her magic by creating more “I can’t believe they are made of sugar 🤯” flowers to decorate the wedding cake.

The ruggedly handsome Andrew was officiating which meant I got a big bear hug squeeze and laughed along with all of the guests when he delivered yet another perfect wedding ceremony.

All in all, a perfect day was had by all!

I know we sent out an email a few days ago thanking you for everything, telling you what a fucking legend you are and how you made our best day even better (which is win win for me as the only thing I booked was the best booking of the lot 👀). But I just wanted to personally thank you for what you did for Shellie before the ceremony. She had said to me the room was quite subdued beforehand, which she probably needed first thing but wouldn’t have been what she wanted all the way through. But she absolutely beamed when she told me how you came in with exactly the right energy, made her laugh and sang along with her. She also had plenty of compliments about your magical bum bag, with the never-ending supply of useful items. You just set the tone for the whole day with her and i’ll forever be grateful for that. You went way above and beyond what any another photographer would do and all our guests thought you were fantastic. I’m so excited to be shooting back at one of my favourite locations, Cardney Steadings 🦌

I love love LOVE being surrounded by nature, amongst the trees with nothing but wild Scotland as far as the eye can see. Cardney offers this and more! Dog friendly, gorgeous barn, ceremony room and sooooo many incredible spots for photo opportunities.

I’m counting down the days until I’m back!

Once again, burying a sausage (or two) the night before your wedding works miracles on the unpredictable Scottish March weather and results in blue skies and golden hours.

Rachel & Mark’s day started with heavy rain and hailstones and ended with a gorgeous sunset.

Rhona & James at Hopetoun House.

I had so much fun with Rhona and her girls at bridal prep, super chilled out, lots of lovely chat… little did I know that the wedding would be delayed over an hour due to the guest’s coach driving the wrong way into the venue and getting stuck in a field 🙈 I ended up shipping 3 car loads of guests to the venue so that poor James didn’t have to wait any longer!! Unfortunately the delay cut into photo and chill time massively, and I was a very stressed (albeit inward stress) tog! I wish I could shoot this wedding again, but if I can get shots as beautiful as these in *such* a rushed amount of time, then maybe I’m not completely useless at my job!

Luckily the rest of their wedding went without a hitch and everyone has a funny story to tell!
